Welcome to Tidmoor Farm
Are you looking for a beautiful and welcoming destination to enjoy the perfect break? Do you want somewhere that is brimming with things to do and has a unique array of beautiful beaches, miles of unspoilt countryside, idyllic villages, charming market towns, ancient castles and forts, historic houses and gardens as well as many events and attractions? Then welcome to Dorset! With over half of Dorset County designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) it is no surprise that we have some of the best landscapes, wildlife, walking and cycling found anywhere in the UK.
It is just a five minute walk from Tidmoor Farm to the South West Coastal Path – within minutes you can be alongside The Fleet Lagoon nature reserve and Chesil Bank, a World Heritage Site – all part of The Jurassic Coast.
Within the popular seaside town of Weymouth, we are just 2-3 miles away from the resort’s gorgeous beach and picturesque harbour. The National Sailing Academy (Portland) is only 4 miles away.
We are an excellent base for many nearby activities and attractions. There are fantastic areas in abundance only short drive away: The Cobb – Lyme Regis, Corfe Castle, Durdle Door, Broadchurch – West Bay are just a few.
Activities such as walking, cycling, horse-riding, golf, fishing, bird-watching and various water sports are all available. Sealife Centre, Sandworld, Abbotsbury Swannery and Gardens, Dorset County Museum, Monkey World, Nothe Fort, RSPB Radipole Lake, Fleet Lagoon, Chesil Bank, The Tank Museum, Maiden Castle, Lulworth Castle, Bennett’s Water Garden are all nearby. There really is something to satisfy all age groups.
Both buildings have been carefully restored to a high standard offering extreme comfort to all. We are very proud to say both our cottages have been awarded four stars and Gold award by the Quality in Tourism Accreditation, as well as M1 and M2 in the National Accessible Scheme – suitable for guests in wheelchair – (see our accessibility page for further details). But our best testimonies are from our guests. By reading our Euans Guide reviews and reviews on Tripadvisor you can really find out what guests thought about their stay with us.
We hope we have thought of almost everything to make our holiday cottages as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
