Please Note:

Our cottages are ideally suited for guests with mobility issues, however the B&B is not suitable for people with disabilities due to uneven surfaces and steps.

Bed and Breakfast

We have two steps leading up to the front door of the property with no hand rail. The rear entrances involve 1-4 steps with no hand rail, and uneven (cobbled) and paved pathways. All the guest bedrooms are on the first floor of the house which is accessed by twelve oak steps and a half-landing; we have a banister rail all the way to the top.

Cottages

Both cottages have been laid out, especially downstairs, with people with mobility difficulties in mind. Guests can get around the ground floor areas in a wheelchair if necessary, and there is a full-access wet room with shower chair and toilet with handrail etc.

If extra aids or adaptions are required we have several mobility shops in Weymouth who offer a hire service and they are happy to deliver items direct to the cottage so they are here for you when you arrive and collect again after your departure.

Our local buses from Weymouth to Chickerell (number 8 service) are accessible. We also have Steve’s Cabs 07791534415 and Fleetline Taxis 01305 777777 offering an accessible taxi service.
